Kala mai, it’s hard updating without a camera/pictures - or even a camera phone!
Ze update.
011912: I had dinner with my roomies, Jaenee and Etta. We ate at Sushiya and Greg as usual was a great server! He messed up on our receipts and forgot to give us our student discount, but he was nice enough to give us a 25% off coupon for the next time we came in. Awesome!
We had one hell of a time talking to each other and sharing/exchanging stories about a certain someone we’ve all come to hate. Hahah. Roommate bonds, how awesome.
012012: I didn’t do much. Although I had planned to get some homework done, it was an unsuccessful turnout. I watched a lot of the United States of Tara - it’s about a mom who has multiple personality disorder, but it’s pretty funny.
012112: I dropped off Koa in the morning to Taylor & Anthony’s ‘cause they agreed to watch him for the weekend. I also gave her one of my frappacino’s because I went to Starbucks prior to coming over and dropping Koa off… The asian guy who took my order, decided not to charge me (don’t know if this was his way of hitting on me; David and Etta seem to think so) - and then the other guy who made my order, made it wrong. So the asian guy redid my entire order, and thus I was left with 2 frappacino’s. I always seem to get a free drink before I head over to Tay’s… Haha!
I then headed to Bellflower to pick up Etta and Sina. Got there around 10:15 and we looked at some local shops to see how low they could drop their prices for us if we bought in bulk (pareos for PISA). I was trying to go for a $6/pareo rate, and two places we went to were trying to give it to us for $8. We then decided to go to LA. We got 15 black pareos and 5 lilac, for $5 a piece! Even better than the $6 rate I was going for! We did awesome. We then continued to venture out a bit and I went a lil cray buying accessories. Hey, $5 sunglasses and $1 for earrings/necklaces? GAME ON!
After taking a nap at Etta’s and getting a massage from her sister, I headed over to my cousin’s house. We then headed out to our Uncle’s place for this birthday get together to get some free food - there wasn’t much, but food is food. We then went to Target and I bought some stuff to make Lee a poster for his competition the next day.
012212: Woke up at 8AM and got ready to go to church with my cousin and her family. After church we ate at Hokkaido and it’s a nice asian buffet! Pretty yummy actually. Afterwards, we went back home to pack our things then headed straight for Brea.
Morse Twirl got 1st place for 1-flag, 2nd place for 2-flag and they’re going to nationals! My cousin and I signed them in as their coaches, so we’ll be going with them to nationals! Exciting. I forgot how exciting competitions felt!
