011312: SD

Woke up this morning to Dave making musubi for Mom’s co-workers. He then made me breakfast, but we were both sad about the rice because well… it was the rice from the bottom of the cooker - it was kind of burnt and hard… So we ate our eggs and spam without rice. So sad! 

Anyway, I had to leave around 12:30 ‘cause I had a dentist appointment - it went well btw. Afterwards, I went home and watched Inception with my sister. And I was oh so happy to see my babyboy, Koa! He missed me; I could tell by how excited he got - he also napped with me. After my nap, I got ready to head back to Dave’s so we could have dinner. We yelped a place called Armando’s because the reviews said they had really good carne asada fries - but they were alright. They would’ve been better if they had sour cream already on them. I mean, who serves carne asada fries WITHOUT sour cream?!?! 

When we came back home, Dad and Janeen came a few minutes later with leftovers from Yokoz - it was so good! I told Dave we HAVE to go! Their kelaguen was so good - and their red rice - AND their barbecue and I’m not a BBQ girl but I loved theirs! YUM.

We soon got ready to leave for Dana’s surprise party. We stayed for a bit but we couldn’t stay too long… ‘cause my Mom called me saying I had to stay with my grandma at the hospital tonight. So we left early, we were probably only there for an hour and a half but we had some good laughs with Mikhail, Janelle, Rachelle and Kat. After dropping off Dave, I went home; didn’t really have to so I left immediately and went to the hospital.

So I’m here now… and this is where I’ll end my night.

3 Things to be grateful for today:

• My awesome loving boyfriend who takes care of me day after day, even through the miles. The warmth he brings to my heart and soul, and the warmth and love felt through his embrace.
• The opportunity to make new friends and make new memories.
• Being able to live one more day.
